Since the founding of OVHS, the marching band has gone through a few names. The first marching band in 1977 was simply known as "OVHS Marching Band". Shortly after that, in 1979 the name was changed to, "OVHS Entertainment Corps". That name remained until 2009 when the band became "The Seahawk Squadron".
